- I painted this as a study for myself. What is it like trying to get into the mind of your 5 year old self? "It was extremely hard. I did overthink every single brush stroke on this painting. Why is the sky blue in some paintings, but white in others? Do we just know that there is light so the white is sufficient or should I paint the sky blue?" Many thoughts went through my head during this piece
