Bloony Prints marked with V1, V2 and V3 explained! Why Does It Matter?

You're looking at at a print and you see a note that it's either a  V1, V2 or V3, but you think "what is that?" V stands for "Version" and the number is an indicator telling the buyer/collector which batch version of the print that they are viewing.

V1 is the first batch production run. These are the first prints to go into production. They are printed, hand signed, sequentially numbered and packaged first. Only (10) V1's are produced for each Tadd Miller painting. These are printed on museum grade archival properties to block UV exposure and prevent the print from degrading overtime. The inks and media used for these prints are designed to last centuries. All "V" Prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

V2 is Version 2 of the print or known as, the 2nd batch. Much like V1's they are also hand signed and sequentially numbered. There are only (100) V2's made for each Tadd Miller Bloony art piece. These are printed on museum grade archival properties to block UV exposure and prevent the print from degrading overtime. The inks and media used for these prints are designed to last centuries. All "V" Prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

V3 is much like V1 and V2 except there are 1,000 prints produced. They still get hand signed and numbered but they are a little more common to find. These are printed on high quality cotton rag, museum grade, archival media. These are printed on museum grade archival properties to block UV exposure and prevent the print from degrading overtime. The inks and media used for these prints are designed to last centuries. All "V" series limited edition prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

If you do not see a Bloony logo on a print, then it is a standard production print. These prints are not signed or numbered, but they are a cheaper alternative to get your hands on a piece of Tadd's work! These are printed on a different media compared to the limited edition prints. They are printed on a lighter, smooth style paper media. It's still fine art material just not as high quality as the "V" Style prints.
